Every year, around 500 to 600 traffic accidents occur on Swiss school routes. Personal injuries occur in 80% of these cases. Reason enough to dedicate a separate chapter to the way to school.
The “Tatort School” program is intended to raise awareness of distractions on the way to school and to show what consequences the fatal chain of circumstances can have. Once carried out as a pilot project in Bern, this Touring Club offer is now being hosted in various regions. “In the next few years at fifteen locations throughout Switzerland,” said project manager Peter Iseli.
“Tatort School” is carried out by professional stuntmen. After the stunt, the students take part in modules moderated by the stuntmen. The content of the modules is the causes and consequences of accidents.
The students are confronted with realistic problems. They discover and reflect on their mobility behavior and then discuss their observations and results in peer feedback
